What Happens to my Pledges?

Your pledge is used to fund the operating budget that is voted upon and adopted by the congregation each year at our annual meeting.

Who Will Know How Much I Give?

Gifts to the church are held in strict confidence. The only person who knows how much you pledge or give to the church is the church bookkeeper. Our bookkeeper records each gift that comes in and will send you a quarterly statement reflecting what has been received.

How Much Should I Give?

“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Matthew 6:21)

Your pledge is a good-faith estimate of what you intend to do in the coming year. We would never make participating in our faith community dependent upon anyone’s ability to pay. Rest assured, FCC will be here for all who need it. That is our mission and our high calling, and we carry that mission out to the best of our ability. At the same time, in order for there to be a faith community at all, those who are able to give must provide for those who are not able. This is the economic reality that all churches depend on, and FCC is no exception. As a steward, your pledge reflects not only a sharing of your financial resources but also an affirmation of your faith in the continuance of our church’s mission.
