Interested in a "hands on" experience? There are multiple opportunities to serve those in our community. Join us as we transform the lives of those needing a helping hand.
Women's Connection
This group of women gathers to experience social time together, build connections, and offers opportunities to strengthen friendships and support one another as they journey through life together, at every season of their lives. Many activities and events are offered throughout the year, such as game days, cook offs, themed breakfasts, theatre productions, cookie swaps, the NYC bus trip, a women’s retreat, and the popular Mystery Ride.
Music Ministry
FCC has a dynamic music ministry. Are you interested in singing in the choir? Do you play a musical instrument? We have a opportunities for you.
Crafters
Our crafters love to come together and prepare wonderful creations for our annual Holly Berry Fair. All people of all abilities are welcome to join in on the fun. No experience required!
Knitting and Crocheting
Our knitters and crocheters work on numerous projects throughout the year that benefit local organizations and charities such as the New England Sea Farer's Mission. Relax at home as you create a yarn craft to improve someone’s life!
Interfaith Women
Women from FCC participate in the mission of this group which is to share religious beliefs, cultures and traditions of women from diverse faiths in the greater Manchester area, with the goal of developing greater understanding and friendship among each other. The churches affiliated with the group host numerous events throughout the year such as book discussions, panel discussions on topics of faith, and an annual holiday event.
Quilting Ministry
The quilters gather to sew handmade lap and baptism quilts, learn new techniques and creative patterns, and enjoy fellowship time together. The lap quilts are stitched with loving care and distributed to the homebound and those in need of a warm homemade “hug” by Pastor Chris and the Parish Care Team. Baptism quilts are presented to the family during the Baptism ceremony.
